There's Still Time! Nominate for President, Secretary, Fundraising


Miss the Team Saint Louis General Meeting last week? No worries! There is still time to submit your nominations for the following Team Saint Louis officer positions: President, Secretary & Fundraising. Help us make our community a better place to be!

President & Secretary board roles hold terms ending in 2022, while the Fundraising term ends in 2021. The role of Secretary will be vacated in November, regardless of nomination.


To submit a nomination or for questions about any of the positions, please email president@teamsaintlouis.org by Thursday, October 15! A vote on nominations will take place in the Team Saint Louis General Meeting Sunday, November 15. Stay tuned for more information on how you can attend & vote on new board members.

Descriptions of each open officer position are as follows:


President: The President shall preside at all meetings & is authorized to call special meetings of the members. The President shall sign all documents required by law. The President shall perform all duties incident of the office of President & such other duties as may be assigned by the membership from time to time.

Secretary: The Secretary shall sign any documents required to be signed by law & shall maintain a complete set of minutes of the meetings of the membership & of the Directors. The Secretary shall see that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these By-Laws, or as required by law, be custodian of the corporation's records, & have general charge of the books & records of the Corporation. The Secretary will have custody of, & be responsible for all funds & securities of the Corporation & shall assist the treasurer with banking activity.  The Secretary will be listed on all funds & securities of the Corporation.  The Secretary will review financial transactions for the corporation given by the Treasurer & present to the executive board after reconciliation.  Any financial action that cannot be reconciled should be brought to the Executive Board's attention immediately.

Fundraising: This Director (in coordination with the Executive Board & members of TSL Inc.) is responsible for raising money for TSL, Inc. & its projects. This Director contacts & meets with potential individual & corporate funders, develops ideas for fundraising events. Additionally, seeks grant opportunities that align with TSL, Inc., its members & mission.
