Tyson was never a "sports gay". He was always into theatre and choir. Tyson played volleyball in high school but was forced to choose between that and theatre. About two years ago, a friend asked him to join a sand volleyball team and has never looked back.
Tyson joined Team Saint Louis Volleyball in fall of 2021 and has played in every session. Last year, he started going to the Pickleball Socials and fell in love. He now plays pickleball more often than volleyball!
Tyson joined the Board of Team Saint Louis to help bring more active activities that foster inclusion and comradery among our LGBTQIA+ community.
James Lewis

You can usually catch James outside doing a variety of activities. He enjoys pickleball, tennis, softball, volleyball, skiing, and kayaking. His most favorite memories are those shared with teammates during volleyball matches and tournaments. His goal is to play at an upcoming NAGVA tournament this year and to add additional support and resources for Team Saint Louis.
Outside of James' active lifestyle, he manages transactions with a global commercial real estate firm and is the Chair for his local chapter's DEI group. Traveling and making memories/experiences are one of his passions, so look for him outside of Saint Louis too!
Erica McCann

Erica Connors is excited to be on the Team Saint Louis Board. She brings a wealth of IT knowledge to the role - eight of her 18 years in IT have been in IT Security. While bowling is her favorite sport, Erica also has been known to play volleyball, softball and kickball. She can't wait to get a team together for the upcoming kickball season! Erica is also an avid card player (hello, Spite and Malice).
Erica has a step-human (Maia); and she and her boyfriend share five fur-children: cats Skitz; Shota; Castiel, Crowley; and dog Lucifer.

Phillip Clay

Sport: Volleyball
Phillip is stoked to be part of the board. Team Saint Louis has meant a lot to him since moving to St. Louis back last January. He is excited to offer more to its members and grow the organization with its incredible board members.
Off the court he works for a Corporate Event Management company. Phillip is father to a new puppy named Cecelia. He also is a fellow Floridan who freezes every winter and a Huge Harry Potter fan (House: Gryffindor).
